Girly Girl

Lizzy is such a girl. She would wear dresses everyday if I let her. She gets so excited when I tell her that it is church day, and she gets to wear a dress. Every other day of the week I won't let her wear a dress so she likes to wear shirts that resemble dresses in some way. This one is like a dress but shorter, so she calls it a dress. Or if a shirt has bows on it or a ruffle then she wants to wear that "dress"

She is obsessed with purses too. Everything is a purse to her. She found a gift bag and made that into a purse, whatever she can hook on her arm or shoulder is a purse. She also is really into her looks. (Uh-oh) Well I guess as much as a two year old can be. She stands in front of her mirror and twirls around and touches her hair and says "I gorgeous" "I look beuful" It is so cute. I know that I am biased but I have to agree with her, she is pretty stinkin cute.

Sitting Up

Nellie has been working on her sitting up skills for the past few weeks. It is soo much fun to watch her grow and get so big. I feel so blessed that she has been so incredibly healthy. She is truely our little miracle girl.

Happy Birthday Lizzy!!

No it is not Lizzy's birthday and it won't be for a good seven months, but that doesn't mean she isn't obsessed with her birthday. I thought that didn't happen for a couple more years. Ever since we mentioned we would be going to Disneyland around her birthday she has been saying "Happy Birsday Lizzy!" And talking about her birthday all the time. Silly little Lizzy!

Snug as Bugs

The other morning I awoke to Lizzy singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Nellie just cooing away. I went in their room and this is what I found:

Lizzy had gotten into bed with her sister and was singing to her. It was way too cute to be mad at Lizzy who knows not to get into Nellie's bed. I just love seeing them together. Nellie is really starting to enjoy her sister and pay attention to her. She always watches Lizzy and laughs at her when she is being silly. I am so glad I have two little girls. I hope they continue to get closer as they grow.

She likes something!

Since we don't have room for a highchair in our tiny dining area, we decided to buy a booster seat for Nellie. For dinner I strapped her in and gave her a biter biscuit to keep her occupied while we ate. Hallelujah! I got to eat dinner with two hands for the first time in months. She loved sitting at the table with us in her own chair and as you can see she loved her biter biscuit. Now everytime I put her in her seat she gets excited, I think because she thinks she is so big. She looks so tiny in it though, it is so cute.

Crack Kills

This is a pretty common sight at our house nowdays. Lizzy wears size 18 months and she is almost two and a half. She didn't fit into her pants when she wore a diaper, and now that she doesn't have any extra bulk to help hold up her pants her crack is always exposed. I guess that is probably how it's always going to be with my little girls so I guess I better get used to it. It is pretty funny though.
