Six Flags Again

We really wanted to make sure we used our season passes so that we got our moneys worth. We decided that the good thing about having season passes is that we didn't have to worry about hurrying down there, we could just go when we felt like it and stay as long as we wanted to. Unfortunately we probably should have tried to get out of the house a little quicker because by the time we left, the traffic into the bay area was so bad that in ended up taking two hours to get there when it's usually just over one.  By the time we got there everyone was really grumpy and we thought Clara would have napped in the car but she didn't so she was super tired at this point and was just acting crazy!  Lizzy also had a major headache and was having a really hard time being there.  It just was one of those days that I just wanted to turn around and head home, but we stayed and eventually got over our bad moods and ended up having a pretty good time.

Janie insisted on pushing this big stroller around even though I am pretty sure she could barely see over the top. It sure was cute though.
Clara was a little busy britches and spending time in lines wasn't really going to happen with her, so we took turns hanging with her a little play area while the other took the other kids on some rides. I just cant get enough of those chubby cheeks of hers!
She also really liked the straw on the juice box, I think more than the actual juice.

Last Day of School

There are a lot of things I like about our school year here.  We don't have quite as long of a summer as I did growing up in Utah, but I kind of like the little longer breaks we have during the year here.  The biggest problem is that we get out of school in June rather than the end of May, so by the time we get out it is really warm and we are just dying to start summer vacation!
My girls ride their bikes to school with our church friends the Watfords who live down the street.  Sarah, their mom asked me if I wanted to surprise the kids with a water fight on their way home on the last day of school.  It was fun but a little challenging because I still had Russell, Annie and Clara to try and deal with.  Hence the reason I only have pictures from after the fact.  We waited until they were almost there and then we squirted them with water guns and balloons.  After that we went in their backyard and had popsicles and let them play in the kiddie pool.  It ended up being a really fun start to the summer!

Annie's First Dentist Trip

We took Annie to the dentist for the first time and I was a little apprehensive about it.  You just never know how Annie is going to act about things.  But I should have known that she would do great!  She didn't act scared at all and she was really good and did everything that she was supposed to do.
She thought she was do big, just like her big sisters. I love that cheeser grin.

Russell's Aloha Program

This past school year went by so fast!  Just like that Russell is done with Miss Patty's Place!  He grew so much this past year, he thrived at school.  He developed into such a big boy!  We are sure going to miss Miss Patty's Place! But he is on to TK in the fall!

Back in December I overlooked when Russell's Christmas program was and we completely missed it!  I felt like the worst mom ever!  So when his end of the year Aloha program came around I had to make sure I didn't forget again!  It was so much fun to watch him with his class do all the actions and all the singing.  He has never really sang that much but once he started preschool he really started to sing.  I love it!

We sure are going to miss his teacher Miss Mandy.  She is the best and Russy really loved her a lot!
