Six Weeks

Baby Jane has been such a joy in our home. We don't always call her baby Jane, but Lizzy always does. Lizzy and Nellie just love her to pieces and they want to hold her all the time. I really can't believe how fast time flies. She is already six weeks old, crazy. I am really getting the hang of three now. It helps that I am feeling better and have my energy back, well as much as I am going to get until I get to sleep through the night again. My mom always would tell me that you just have to make it to six weeks and things start to get easier. That is true. One day last week I just realized that I was feeling not so out of control anymore and feeling like this was something I could handle.

Jane is getting so big and so fun, she is such a smiler, and she is starting to talk and make cute baby noises. It is amazing how much your love grows when you have another baby. you think that you can't possibly imagine loving another baby as much as you love your kids but that sweet baby comes and your love just grows beyond measure. I just love this sweet little girl, I couldn't imagine having a boy now instead of her.

She always sleeps like this, with her hand up by her face like she is posing. I just love it.

Kevy calls her big eyes, because she always has such bright big eyes.

She was helping Daddy play hungry hippos.

Can you tell how much Lizzy loves her. One day I caught Lizzy talking to Jane saying "I'm here, Mommy is here." Like she was Jane's mom. She is so silly. The girlies in their zipper jammies. Lizzy and Nellie have rediscovered these jammies and want to wear them all the time. Nellie looks really long in this picture.

Sisters..and Best Friends

Lizzy and Nellie are inseparable. They really do everything together. They play so well together, it makes me so happy. Of course they have their moments, Like when Lizzy tries to boss Nellie around and Nellie gets sick of it and beats the crap out of Lizzy. But for the most part they love each other so much and each one would be lost without the other. Here they were getting their feet massaged in the foot spa. They think this is the coolest thing ever. They ask if they can do it every night.

Kevy got them hooked on playing Xbox. Or at least they think they are playing. Nellie's guy just runs around in a circle, but hey whatever keeps them happy at this point.

There hasn't been much snow this year (hurray!!) so the girls haven't been able to wear their snow stuff, so they decided to dress up and pretend to play in the snow.

Lizzy usually decides what they do and Nellie usually goes along with it. They play pretend and Lizzy is the Mom and Nellie is the Dad, it is so funny. They are always carting their blankets and pillows around the house and making beds, along with their hundreds of stuffed animals (okay it just seems like hundreds) They color together and play dolls together and polly pockets and oh just everything. One of their new things is taking lots and lots of whatever they can find and sectioning off areas in the house that are their cages. Don't ask me I have no idea. I just know that I love that they play so well together but I just really hate the mess because they manage to destroy my house multiple times each day.

I am just so happy that we had three little girls in a row. I just hope that they include Jane in this when she gets older. I am sure they will. I am so grateful for my sisters and the memories I have with them growing up, and the relationship I have with them now and hope that my little girls will have that as well.

Happenings

Nellie is obsessed with this little monkey harness. We got it with Lizzy because she would run off in stores and I couldn't find her. We never used it too much and it has been floating around the house. Nellie found it one day and decided that it was her new favorite toy. She will wear it all day long and wants to wear it to bed too. She loves to play a little game with it too, she comes up and hands you the tail and says "Pull my tail!!!" then she runs away and wants you to pull her back really hard. She will seriously want to do it for hours. The things that entertain little kids.

She also loves to play with stuffed animals. Doggies are her favorite. I used to feel like stuffed animals were a waste of money, but not with my girls, they love stuffed animals, they love to sleep with them (you should see their beds at night) and play with the all the time.

Lizzy loves Jane so much! I think that she almost thinks that Jane is her baby. She wants to hold her all the time and kiss her and squeeze her, and smother her pretty much. I am trying to be patient with it, but sometimes it is a little too much. Lizzy can be such a bossy girl sometimes. The other day I was getting really frustrated with Nellie because she had wet her pants and wouldn't put on new ones, and Lizzy came up to me and just like a mom would do she brushed my hair back and said in her bossy little voice, "You need to be a good mom and not a bad mom." I couldn't believe her, what a punk!

We have been really enjoying our baby Jane. She is still sleeping a lot, but she is up for at least four hours in the evening, and man is she awake! She has such bright eyes, I love it. She is a really good baby and is generally only waking once at night to nurse, so why am I still so tired everyday? She loves her Daddy a lot and smiles for him all the time, I still haven't gotten a smile out of her. We just love her so much and can't imagine our family without her.

Jane's Blessing & other pictures

Sunday we blessed Jane. We decided that with my Mom visiting and Kevin's parents visiting, that was the most family we were going to get so we took advantage of the opportunity. We blessed her at home and Kevy gave the sweetest blessing. It was such a wonderful day. We are so happy to have this beautiful little spirit in our home. My wonderful mom took over for me and made the meal with Kelli and Kevy's mom. It was really hard for me to not be in charge and do it, but I guess it was a good lesson on letting other people help me.Jane looked like a little angel sleeping in her Daddy's arms.

Kevy and all his girls

I need a haircut and color sooo bad, I haven't had my hair done since June and I have been trimming it myself, I really need Kiki to come out and do it for me.

Nellie always manages to make the silliest faces in pictures.
This was a picture of the girls meeting Jane for the first time. Lizzy now really thinks Jane is her baby and wants to hold her nonstop. She is such a little Mommy, Nellie on the other hand likes Jane and wants to hold her sometimes and loves her ,but she is struggling with the adjustment and has reverted back to being not potty trained, which is so hard with all the work I put in and with trying to take care of a newborn as well. My mom left today and I just don't know if I am physically ready to take care of these three along with all the housework. I will just have to let some stuff go which is SO hard for me to realize.

So sweet, Kevy loves his little girls so much!

Jane is a very alert baby. She will look right at you and just stare while you talk, it is so cute.

Jane was on the floor and the girls decided they needed to be right there with her.

Our Baby Jane is Here!!

We are so excited to welcome our sweet little girl! She was born at 12:22 p.m. on January 6, 2009 , she weighs 7 lbs 3 oz. and is 19 inches long. She is so sweet and loves to be talked to. She was born with lots of dark hair, and has the cutest chipmunk cheeks.

And she even has Daddy's crazy long toes just like her sisters do.

Almost There

I guess I have made it. What a blessing it has been to have made it full term after what happened with Nellie. I am so glad that I made it this far, but man I am really ready to have this baby and not be pregnant anymore!

I can't sleep laying down half the time because I have heratburn and reflux so bad. The baby is so far up in my ribcage, that I can't even imagine where all of my insides are. My ribcage is so sore and there is this one spot that she is that I have this weird numbness and prickly feeling all the time. I feel like such a big cow, even though I know I am not, I just can't move like I want to. I am just so dang tired, I guess that is also because I have two very active children to take care of as well. The good thing is that because it is winter I haven't had any of the swelling that I had in my first two pregnancies, so that is good. I hope that her activity level doesn't transfer to after she is born because then I am in for it. My other two were very active, but she is even more so then they were.

I am scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday so I only have a few more days. It is weird because I am more nervous for the c-section this time, I think because both of the other times it wasn't planned so I didn't have time to get nervous about it. But I am just so grateful to know that I get to have a priesthood blessing from Kevin and that will greatly relieve my anxiety. I really would have loved to not have a c-section and have my babies the normal way, but I guess it just wasn't in the cards for me. I am just grateful to be able to have babies. Lizzy loves to kiss my belly and talk to baby Jane. She asks me everyday how many more days until baby Jane comes. And them when I tell her she gets all sad and says "I want my baby Jane here now!" She is going to be my very good helper when Jane gets here. It is also so funny because she talks about wishing she was married so that she could be a mommy and have a baby in her belly too. She is such a doll.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas. It was so fun with the girls this year. Christmas Eve they were sooo excited to get all ready for Santa to come, we made some cookies for Santa and threw reindeer food out in the snow. Then the girls got in their new jammies I made them. I thought that the jammies really fit their personality this year. After that we each opened one present and the girls opened some flannel sheets we got them. They were so excited about them and had to have them on their bed that night. Lizzy kept saying "Thank you so much for the beautiful sheets, Mom and Dad!" The next morning I heard the girls door open and I was just waiting for ours to open when I noticed the lights in the living room turn on. I ran out there and the little stinkers were already looking at their toys Santa brought. I made them go back to their room so that I could record it. Lizzy got Polly Pockets and Makeup, yes she was in heaven. Nellie got a really cute dolly that talks with a really cute crib, she liked it until she opened her Diego toys and then the dolly was left by the wayside. Her and her Diego, I still think that is hilarious. One of my favorites growing up was the stocking and unstuffing it and getting all the fun little things. Lizzy loved it too, every little thing she pulled out you would have thought was the greatest thing ever. Nellie on the other hand pulled out a piece of candy first and we had to force her to pull the rest of the stuff out because all she wanted to do was eat the candy.

We got the girls robes and they loved them. They think they are so grown up in them.

Lizzy really wanted a scarf for Christmas so Grandma made her one, she loved it.

Grandma made Nellie a scarf too. Notice the chocolate all over her face. Every time we turned around Nellie was eating another piece of candy.

Lizzy playing with her new Leapster game she got from Grammie and Papi. She loved it! Thanks Grammie and Papi!

Nellie got a cool Diego toy from Grammie and Papi and she loved it too. Thanks Grammie and Papi!

Lizzy has been dying to wear her new dress she got from Grandma and Grandpa, Today she did and she looked so beautiful. She loves to dress up. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Nellie wearing her jaguar coat that she got from Grandma and Grandpa. She said " I love my jaguar coat, it's so warm and soft." Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

The girlies looked so cute today all dressed up. We have sure had a good Christmas season.

Lizzy's Christmas Program & cookie decorating

On Sunday church was cancelled so we had the whole day to have fun together. We decorated some cookies or as Nellie did, put about an inch of frosting on a cookie and licked it off.

After the cookies we headed off to Lizzy's Christmas Program, (gotta love how out here they do all the school activities on Sunday) Lizzy sang her little heart out it was so cute. She did all the actions to every song and of course knew every word while most of the other kids just stood there with blank looks on their faces.
This was Lizzy doing the actions to "I'm getting nothin' for Christmas" She was absolutely hilarious. I recorded it, but from the angle we were sitting the girl next to her kept getting in front of her so we couldn't see her very good. I hate it when that happens. We also have a hard time with settings on our camera and all the pictures that day were pretty blurry. Notice the boy on the left of the picture (gotta love the hairdo, a mohawk and a mullet together)

All the kids told what they wanted for Christmas, and of course when it was Lizzy's turn she had to take the microphone from the teacher so that she could do it herself, she is definitely not shy when it comes to things like that. She is such a sweet and happy girl. I just love my Lizzy!

Christmas Stuff

Can I just say that I am loving this Christmas season. I love it anyway, but this year has been especially fun because the girls have had SO much fun with it. We try to do some sort of activity every night. One of the girls favorites is to turn off the lights and light candles and turn on the Christmas music and dance. They love to dance and LOVE to sing. Lizzy has always loved to sing but Nellie is really starting to pick it up and I just love to hear her darling little voice singing the songs.
We went one family night to get a tree, but the tree farm was closed, so we just went down to the grocery store and picked one up, I thought the girls would be disappointed, but they could care less, all they wanted was to decorate the tree when we got home.

I had made a pumpkin pie and Nellie snuck up onto the counter and dug her fingers into it. It was pretty funny because I did the exact same thing when I was little only it was a whole pie that my mom had to take somewhere the next day.

The little girlies love to help me in the kitchen and they just had to help me stir the caramels. It was pretty hard to stir with three big spoons in the pot but they sure enjoyed it.

We made a gingerbread house and they girls got so excited about it. They got even more excited when they discovered that there was some extra candy they could eat. Even though it was nasty.

Gotta love how Nellie isn't wearing any pants.

We let them stay up the night that Frosty the Snowman came on. We popped some popcorn and they thought it was pretty neat. They loved Frosty and have watched it daily since then. Lizzy wanted to make a snowman too, so that he could come to life.

Daddy and his girlies snuggling and watching a movie. So cute.
I am really going to be sad when Christmas is over. I love this time of year! The one good thing is that when it is over it means Jane will be about here, thank goodness!
