More Summer Fun

After we got back from Utah the fun just continued.  We made our annual trip to Dry Creek with some friends from the ward and the kids had a great time exploring. It's always fun to do something different than just going to a swimming pool.

There are wild blackberry bushes by the creek so the kids had fun picking them.

Clara was a big girl and did so great on her first trip to the dentist.  She wasn't scared at all and she talked the ear off the hygienist.

Ever since I took the kids to Thrifty ice cream a couple years ago they have been asking to go back, so we took them for family night. The only problem is it is in a drug store and there is no place to sit so we just went out in the front of the store and ate it.  There was a really nice friendly couple that we visited with. Its always nice when there are people that think its cool that we have a big family instead of the ones that look at us like we have the plague.
We always have fun just playing around on our tramp.

My friend Jannae had a summer family pass to Top Golf so we I took the Lizzy and the younger kids. Nellie and Jane were busy. They all had a blast (even Clara) and Russell decided that he really LOVED golfing and wanted to do it for his birthday.

We dog sat our friends dog Chewy and the kids really loved it. I'm glad that they enjoyed it, but it solidified for me the desire to never own a dog.

The Prices came to visit, which was AMAZING!  The kids always have the best time with their cousins and we are so grateful that they were willing to come on a trip to see us!

The kids all slept on the tramp overnight, I'm super glad that I didn't have to, but they thought it was pretty cool.
Clara and Lucy became good friends this trip, it helped that Clara is starting to get more grown-up so she could hang with Annie and Lucy more.
