Mr. Russ

I haven't posted a whole lot of pictures of Russ in a while and with babies growing so fast, I thought I would post some.  I can't believe that he is already 4 months old!  I swear he was just born! We sure do love this little guy!  He is such a social baby, he reminds me so much of Lizzy at the same age.  He is quite a talker too!  I have never heard a baby his age that has so much to say, I love it!  He still isn't the easiest baby, but he is letting me put him down more and he loves his toys a lot.  He loves a little blanket toy thing that is a tiger, and he gets excited when he sees it.  I love when babies get to this age and you can literally watch them learn something new everyday.  Our little man is just that, little.  I guess I shouldn't be shocked, but I was really hoping that somehow he would get some recessive gene and be really big, but no such luck.  I took him to his 4 month check and he was 13 lbs. 3 oz. and 25 inches long.  So he was in the 15th for his weight and the 50th, for his height, right on par for Kevy and my kids.

 I seriously could just eat him up and I sometimes still can't believe we actually had a little boy!

 He used to be super attached to me, but since we have moved back in with my parents, and he has been around more people he is doing much better and liking other people.  One of his favorites is my brother Joe, He really likes him.

 My milk supply has been really dwindling despite everything i have been trying to do for it, and Russell has been acting really hungry lately and not sleeping very well at night, so I thought maybe we would try some rice cereal now that he is 4 months.  He really liked it the first day, but the times I have tried since, he hasn't been very thrilled. I think maybe we will have to try some oatmeal or something.

 He really just loves to talk to everyone.  One time we took him to a movie and I thought he would sleep, but he was awake the whole time and wanted to chat through the whole thing, so he won't be going with us to the movie anymore.

 Lizzy loves him so much and she loves to carry him around the house.  It is so funny because she is such a tiny thing that it almost look funny because he looks so big when she holds him.   She and all of the girls are such great helpers with him.  I can really count on them to help me out with watching over him.

 His hair is growing in really blond.  I think he will probably be as blond as Nellie.

Janie just loves him so much and wants to give him loves all the time.
