Sisters

These two girls are so cute together!  Now that Russell goes to school it has really forced them to play together and they have really started to.  It's so cute to see them share their love of babies and to just play together. This is why I have lots of kids. I hope they will always treasure their relationship that they have with each other.  Of course they don't always play perfect together. And poor Clara keeps getting bit by Annie when Annie when doesn't want her to have something. But that's just the way of life when you have siblings.

Janie's Birthday Party

 Jane's birthday party was a month and a half late. Its hard the year that they have their baptism to also give them a birthday party, but since we do it every other year it falls then. Luckily the kids have been patient with me when I couldn't get to it right away. Janie wanted a Moana themed party. Oh how I love themed parties. Luckily Jane isn't too picky so the few activities we came up with were fine with her.  We did a pinata, and we let the kids watch Moana. The kids got bored with watching the movie though, so it was a good thing we didn't make the party too long because we didn't have  too many activities planned.

Jane wanted the heart of tafiti on top of the cupcakes.  I thought that maybe I could make them out of marshmallow fondant, which of course I had never made before. They worked out alright even if they took a while to make.

Its always hard to have friends over and have your child not pay attention to one of them. Its so uncomfortable. Jane had a friend over that she doesn't know very well so it was a little uncomfortable because she didn't pay any attention to her, but its hard with birthday parties.

Jane was so cute and I am so glad that she had a good time at her party!  She is always such an easy to please person, its one of the things I love most about her!

Valentines Day

Our annual valentines tradition is one of my favorites. I think the kids really love it too. Its so fun to carry on a tradition that I did as a child and that we have added some fun new traditions as well.

 It was easier for me to frost the cookies and just let the kids decorate them.

 I'm not quite sure what how much decorating and how much eating was going on. 

 I think this was the first year that Annie really got the whole thing and she really loved getting to make and take the cookies to her little friends.

 It was fun to see the big girls start to get better at the decorating thing and really take some time to make them look nice.

 I love these cute little kids. They are so fun! I'm so glad that we got to have all these beautiful spirits in our home and they each bless my life immeasurably. I cant believe that I am so lucky to have all of them and each one is so special to me. I cant imagine my life without each one!

 I love that our Valentines celebration and how it is a family celebration. The kids look forward to it every year and they are even getting really good at helping me with it.
