Sweets Candy Factory

While we were out in Utah we went on a tour of the Sweets Candy Factory. It was really fun to do! There are so many things that I have never done even though I lived there most of my life. We got to see how they made all of the yummy candy and we even got some taste tests. It was really funny because on the tour we had to wear these hair coverings and the tour guide called them candy makers hats. Well the kids thought they were so cool and they kept theirs, and afterward they would go and play candy maker with their hair nets. It was funny. I wish I had gotten a picture with them on but we couldn't bring a camera on the tour.

Our group. We sure had fun with cousins this trip!

My mom made these darling outfits for the girls. They look SO cute in them and we get lots of comments on them.

Cousins!

My girls love their cousins so much! They were so excited to have plenty of days to get to play with them and hang out with them. We went swimming and came back and had Popsicles! Two of the girls very favorite things about summer.

Nellie and Max, need I say more. These two are seriously the cutest together. They have the very best time together. I seriously love when they are together too because Nellie is so good when she is around Max.

Lizzy and Ozzie, they have so much fun togehter, I hope the day never comes when my they don't want to be together because they aren't the same gender.

We were so happy and surprised that Kevin's parents and Sandy came to see us and that they brought the grandkids (minus Braysen) we got to spend some time with them swimming and minature golfing. The kids had a blast and it made our trip even better.

Temple Square

Having not lived in Utah for quite a while now, Kevin and I realized that we had never taken the girls to see Temple Square. So on a Monday while we were out there we decided to go for family Night. Unfortunately Kevin's parents and sister Sandy had come up to see us and were going to go with us but Carson threw up at dinner so they just headed back to the hotel. We were sad they couldn't come with us but we are so glad that we took the girls because it was such a great experience for them. Lizzy loves going to church and loves the gospel so much already as a little girl, and she just loved seeing all the sights and feeling the spirit there.
We got to go on the tour of the Conference Center which I had never been on and it was really neat. Our tour guide was quick so we got to see everything without it taking forever. We were a little worried because we saw at Disneyland that Nellie does not do well when she has to walk any kind of distance. (if we go to the grocery store and I don't get a cart for her to ride in she starts wailing and crying about how much her legs hurt.) But the crazy thing was not once while we were there walking around did she say anything about her legs hurting. That is not until we were about ten feet from the car and all of a sudden she could no longer walk her legs hurt too bad! The crazy child. She sure is here to teach me patience.

I love these little ladies! They are so sweet and so special.

Me and my eternal companion! We have been together now for eight years! Time sure flies when you are with someone you love. He is such a good man and I am so lucky to have him as my huband.

Our Eternal Family! I am so grateful to be a member of this church and have it in my life, what a blessing it is for our family!

Daddy and His Girls

We are SO excited to welcome our little boy this year and add another dimension to our family, but there has always been something special about Kevin and his girls. He has been such a good girl daddy, he makes them all feel so special, and they are all big time Daddy's girls. Everyday it is all about when Daddy gets home and if they are hurt, it is daddy they want. I try to not let it hurt my feelings, but sometimes it does.
Here's hoping that the little guy is a mama's boy! Snuggling on the couch. Of course they only want to sit with him!

We went to an ice cream parlor for Family night and the girls loved it. They had never actually been in a real ice cream parlor and Lizzy thought it was the coolest thing, with the fancy seats and your ice cream in a fancy dish. Lizzy is all about stuff like that. I love how everything is so amazing to her. Nellie tells me that she wasn't really mad she just was being silly, who knows with that girl.

Janie had fun eating her ice cream, she didn't even make much of a mess either.

Practicing their Nellie pouty face.

Kevin got home from work and jumped in with the girls. They thought it was awesome to swim with Dad. Poor guy currently has no A/C in his car and is roasting everyday when he gets home from work.
