Fathers and Sons is something that Kevy has such great memories of. So this year with Russ being a little bit bigger, Kevy decided he really wanted to take him. It was really cute how he got all ready. He was so excited to take the crazy little man. He took the dutch oven and got all his food ready that he was going to make. It was a good thing he made so much food because I guess he ended up sharing with some people that forgot to bring dinner. Kevy decided to stay overnight and so he borrowed a tent from someone. I guess that Russ did great that night and had a blast. He thought being in the great outdoors was pretty dang cool. He even went to bed good that night. But he woke up at about 1 a.m.screaming and he wouldn't calm down. So Kevy had to pack him up and bring him home. They got home at 2:30 and Russ was up for almost another three hours jacking around in his crib. I think by next year though he will be okay for staying the night.
The girls were a little sad that they didn't get to go, so I took them to the movie and we had a fun night together. It was crazy how much easier it was that night without Russ. He is the one right now that just takes it all out of me!

Aw sweet Russ! At least it will be something for Kevy to remember! He is getting so big!
