Mike and Meili's Wedding

It was good to go to Utah for Mike and Meili's wedding, unfortunately it was on probably the worst possible weekend for us, so we could only stay for a few days, which is never very fun to travel that much in a short period of time. However we have gotten the kids trained pretty well for traveling and we managed to only stop twice on the whole eleven houre drive. But it is always difficlut at the end when you are almost there and the kids are so tired of being in the car. Russy was so done by the end and he kept saying "mom push this button!" when he was pointing to his car seat release button. It was pretty funny. We also discovered that Annie doesn't like having me back by her because she just cries pretty much the whole time. But if she can't see me then she is prefectly fine. I think if I am sitting there then she thinks I will get her out and when I don't she gets mad.

The kids had a lot of fun with their cousins for the couple of days we were there. But I didnt really get any pictures of the first couple of days. It was just a lot of running around and getting everything ready for the wedding.

The temple was nice, it was also really wonderful to go to the temple that Kevin and I were married in and remember all the great memories we have of our wedding day.

The babies had fun playing at the church when we had the luncheon.

Trying to get a good group picutre with the little kids was pretty much the biggest joke ever. The babies would not cooperate at all and definitely not all at the same time, but Janie really loved holding the bouquet.

Anne pretty much wanted nothing to do with this.

The kids ended up having such a blast dancing and hanging out on the dance floor

One of the eternal problems with vacations and little kids is that they are so grumpy the whole trip usually because they aren't getting their usual sleep. Then throw in something like the reception that is after their bedtime anyway and it is not a good combo. Russ and Annie were so grumpy at the reception and not much seemed to make them happy. We did find that Russy was happy if he had his bag of popcorn, so we mmade sure to keep that full.

It was a really pretty reception and with the breeze ended up not being super hot like we were worried about.

The next day we just hung out at Grammie's so that we felt rested for our trip back the next day. The kids had fun playing with cousins. Annie liked wearing these little goggles.

Russ and Layla and Anne were loving playing in Grammie's cupboard, the only problem was they started fighting over getting their turn in it, so we had to put an end to it.

Russ ened up crashing and we seriously couldn't wake him up he was so tired. When we finally were able to wake him up, he was a little monster! It was fun to go and see family, but kind of sad because it is the only time we are heading out to Utah this year and it was such a short trip.
